Overview

Emerge is seeking a Documentation Photo Specialist to work with our safety technology client who brings safety tech solutions to school buses across North America.  In this role, you will be documenting upgrades of our client’s Digital Video Recorders communication modules installed on school buses.  You will complete paperwork related to the upgrade, take photos on a mobile device or tablet of the upgraded components, and upload that information into Salesforce.com. 

This role is a 6-month temporary contract assignment on Long Island, NY.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Document upgrades on our client’s Digital Video Recorders (DVR’s) on school buses
  • Follow the Field Service Technicians performing the upgrades, take a series of 4 photos for each upgrade
  • Upload photos into Salesforce, log information, and complete related paperwork to ensure the upgrades are properly documented
  • Will be expected to document 20-30 upgrades per day
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel within Suffolk and Nassau counties
  • Must have a mobile phone

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently while meeting daily requirements and quotas based on productivity requirements
  • Desire and ability to document a process, take and organize clear photos, and upload photos into Salesforce
  • Ability to work at the same pace as the technicians performing the upgrades on the school buses
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively through email, verbally, and text
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work on your feet 5 to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to drive to various locations in Suffolk and Nassau counties
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM is a plus, but not required
  • HS Diploma or GED is required

 

Work Environment

  • Must reside on Long Island and travel to assigned destinations
  • Monday-Friday schedule during business hours
  • Temporary, 6-month contract role
